Yellow (G) dominates green (g). Cross Gg × Gg. Phenotypic ratio?
- Punnett: 1 GG : 2 Gg : 1 gg → 3 yellow : 1 green.

Worked example: X-linked pedigree
Recessive X-linked disease in a boy; mother unaffected; maternal uncle affected. Can his daughter be a carrier?
- Affected son is XᵃY; mother is a carrier.
- A daughter of an affected man always inherits that X → she is a carrier.
Yes — daughter of an affected man is a carrier. Write genotypes on the pedigree.
